Let's talk tattoos!

Thank you for wanting to book with me! Seriously, it's an honor. Please click on the button below and fill out the inquiry form so that I can assess whether I am a good fit for your tattoo, how much time we'll need together, and whether or not we'll start with a complementary consultation.

You can view my portfolio in the gallery below or on my Instagram, @mirandaricoink.

I can't wait to make some magic together!!!

POLICIES & ETHOS

How to begin the booking process:

I do not do any client communication through social media.

For all inquiries please book through this google form

From there, you will be in touch with my booking manager who will gauge how much time we will need together, and whether or not a complimentary consultation is needed.

At this time, my rate is $150/hour. I will have my station set up before your arrival time, and I start the clock at the scheduled start time of your appointment. If you have any questions about this, please let me know! I want you to be able to understand and feel comfortable about what you are paying for. If you would like to arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out your paperwork, you are more than welcome to do so.

Things I am excited about tattooing:

I am most excited about anything that falls under the categories/styles of fine line illustrative and ornamental, with or without pops of color! I love tattooing the natural world, anything esoteric or spiritual, and anything with sacred geometry or mandalas. Starting in January 2027, I will not be taking on any text only pieces— thank you for your understanding!

Non-Refundable Deposit:

In order to get on my books, you will be required to leave a $150 non refundable deposit that will be taken off of the total cost of your tattoo. In the event that your tattoo spans multiple days, the deposit will be taken off of the cost of your last session.

You will be prompted to leave this deposit through my online booking software (Acuity) when you go to book your appointment with me. PLEASE NOTE: If anyone reaches out to you asking to leave a deposit via Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp, etc., please be aware that this is not me!

In the event that you come in for your appointment and start stenciling and you end up not following through with the tattoo, I will use your deposit as a design fee and you will need to leave another deposit to get back into my books. Thank you for your understanding as I strive to make sure I am compensated for my time.

Rescheduling/Deposit Policy:

If you need to reschedule, you will be able to do so through your initial booking confirmation email within 48 hours of your appointment. Any need to reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment may result in a loss of your deposit, at my discretion (i.e. emergencies and last minute sicknesses happen, I get it! I try to be as flexible as possible with my deposit policy.)

After you book and my design process:

After you book a session through my booking platform, I will begin designing your piece!

It is essential and very helpful to the overall design process for you to be as specific as possible in your initial booking email about your desires for your tattoo. The more information I have while designing, the better! If you have any concerns with the design process, or want to help with the planning and brainstorming process for your piece, we can get you in for a complimentary consultation before I begin the design process. I love meeting my clients and hearing their ideas in person before the day of appointment and I always welcome consultations!

At the start of your appointment, I will show you what I have drawn up for you. At this time, it is encouraged that you give me any edits you may have for your piece. I work hard to ensure that you never feel rushed or pressured. This piece is permanent, and I want to make sure you love it as much as I do.

This method of designing is what allows me to have a streamlined process while I work with multiple clients who all have different and unique needs, as well as not having to charge an additional design fee.

If you decide that you want to completely change everything about your tattoo after you have already booked (like, if you wanted a dragon and now you want a mermaid), depending on how close we are to your appointment, we may have to rebook, and this may result in a loss of your deposit. But email me, reach out, and we can talk through your options! Other edits to the agreed upon design on the day of your appointment (i.e. changing the dragon's head angle) are of course welcome!

If you are very concerned about seeing your design before your appointment, these are the steps that we would take:

  • You would let me know before you book that you would like to see your design before your appointment. If you ask about this after booking, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to accommodate this request.
  • You would pay a design fee. All of my design fees start at $150 and vary based on your tattoo. We would make sure you know this cost up front after you inquire about seeing your design before your appointment.
  • I would get your design to you 1 week before your tattoo. You have 48 hours to get edits back to me and I will incorporate them!
  • I will have the edited second draft of your tattoo at your scheduled appointment. At this time you still have the opportunity to give me any additional edits before it becomes permanent.

I really appreciate my clients’ understanding in the method to my madness! I want to be able to show up for my clients and spend adequate time designing pieces that you will be in love with forever. This process has worked well for me and my clients so far and your feedback on your design is extremely important to me, whether it happens on the day of your appointment or ahead of time. I want you to love your tattoo, and I always want your feedback :)

My rate and what I charge for:

My rate is $150/hour.

I do not charge a design fee unless you want to see your design before your tattoo appointment. If you wish to see your design before your appointment, I can accommodate this for a design fee if you request this accommodation before you book your appointment. My design fees start at $150 and vary from piece to piece, but we will always let you the design fee upon inquiring to see your design before your appointment. For more details on my design process, please read the “After you book + my design process” section.

Last, but not least:

I want you to feel like you can ask me anything! This is a collaborative process, and I want to make sure that you feel comfortable and heard throughout every step of this process. Feeling nervous? I got you! Need a snack? We have those! Want to take a break? Just ask! We're in this together. Use your voice and I'll use mine :)

AFTER CARE

Saniderm helps protect the tattoo from bacteria and other elements for the best possible healing.

Keep the saniderm on for 3-5 days. You can shower with it, try not to soak the area too much as it will weaken the adhesive. Avoid taking baths.

You will see a buildup of blood and plasma mixed with ink under the saniderm, this is perfectly normal. If there’s a large amount of buildup and it is leaking outside of the bandage, remove the sandier immediately. If the blood and ink is contained in the bandage, you are safe to leave it on.

The easiest way to remove the saniderm is under warm running water as it will help loosen the adhesive.

If you did not get saniderm, take off the temporary bandage as soon as you get home from your appointment and begin the after care instructions below:

After the saniderm comes off, you will follow the following aftercare instructions for the following 2 weeks:

Gently wash your tattoo with unscented antibacterial pump soap and air dry or dry with a clean paper towel, not your shower or hand towel.

Apply a very thin layer of aquaphor, Hustle Butter, or unscented plain lotion (cetaphil, eucerin, etc.). Make sure the moisturizer is well rubbed into the area and there is no excess.

DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH at the tattoo at all as this can damage it during healing.

Avoid submerging your new tattoo in any bodies of water— pool, hot tub, ocean, lake, bathtub, etc.

Avoid sun exposure. While the tattoo is in the initial 2 weeks after healing, use clothing or ace bandage to cover the tattoo and do not use sunscreen. After 2 weeks have passed, sunscreen is great.

DO NOT re-bandage the tattoo after initial bandage is removed.
